Out-of-school care

With our increasingly busy lives, it is very important to parents and carers that their children are looked after in a safe and caring environment. Our breakfast and after-school clubs aim to do this and provide a reliable service where costs are kept as low as possible.

For those parents who are eligible to claim childcare costs the school OFSTED number is 121283. We are registered for children between the ages 4yrs and 11yrs (Reception to Year 6).

Breakfast club (7:30am – 8:30am)

We all know just how important it is to start the day with a good breakfast. At Breakfast Club the children get a choice of cereals, porridge, toast and fruit to begin their day. The children sit down at the table, with the supervising adults, and have breakfast as part of a ‘big family’. After they have eaten, they then get the opportunity to get involved in a number of activities such as board games, sports, drawing and colouring, outdoor play or homework help.

£3.50 per session.

After-school club (3:00pm – 5:45pm)

At the end of the day, the children make a smooth transition from the classroom to the After School Club. Refreshments are provided including a snack and drinks – please note this is only a snack and not a full meal to substitute tea/dinner. A selection of activities is provided to keep children busy until collection time e.g. sports/outdoor play, arts and crafts, cooking, story time and help with homework.

Charges and opening times

Session 1 – 3:10 pm till 4:30 pm, £4.50 per session.

Session 2  –  4:30 pm till 5:45 pm, £3.50 per session.

Booking

For those parents/carers who are eligible to claim childcare costs, the school OFSTED number is 121283. We are registered for children between the ages 4yrs and 11yrs (Reception to Year 6).

It is essential that pupils are booked into breakfast or after-school clubs before the session. Booking is available using ParentPay.

If you need to book your child in at short notice, please telephone 01904 936948 – the office staff will then pass on the information to the out-of-school club. Unfortunately, if children are not booked in advance, we cannot guarantee a place for your child that day.
