At Clifton Green Primary School, the Arts team are responsible for leading the National Curriculum subjects of Music and Art.

What is your first memory of school music? The Christmas show in Year 1? Guitar solo Year 5?
At Clifton Green Primary School, we are invested in providing a music curriculum that inspires creativity, self-expression and encourages our children on their musical journey as well as giving them opportunities to connect with others, igniting a passion for music.
Each week classes have a taught Music session led by SING education. Specialist teachers supported by our school staff provide a highly engaging music session from Nursery right the way up to Year 6. We also have whole class Ukulele sessions each week in Year 4.
We seize every opportunity to showcase our musical passions and each year take part in ‘Young Voices’ and hold various concerts and performances throughout the year. To find out more about our how our Music curriculum progresses throughout school, please take a look at our overview documents below:
